Judoka Mihail Maler became world veteran champion for 9th time

Chisinau, Nov 5 /MOLDPRES/- 81-year-old judoka Mihail Maler has become for the ninth time world veteran champion.
Mihail Maler defeated American James Dugal, Italian Giuliano Invernizzi and German Lothar Sterlinsky in the 100 kg category.
Another representative of the national team, Constantin Brânză, won the bronze medal in the 60 kg category.
The World Judo Championships Veterans was held in Las Vegas, USA. This year's edition was attended by 1278 judokas from 68 countries.
