This year's winners selected by National Award Committee

Chisinau, Nov 14 /MOLDPRES/- Members of the Commission for National Prize convened today in a meeting chaired by Prime Minister Dorin Recean to select winners of the 2024 edition. This year, 24 applications were submitted, which cover the 2023 achievements of participants in the fields of art, science, literature, cinema, culture, medicine and sports, the government's communications department.

The official emphasized the contribution of the candidates to the development of the sectors, stressing that people who bring added value to our society must be supported. "We need to talk more about these achievements and communicate to citizens about our value as a society. We have talents, innovations and extraordinary people who are making important achievements for the future of the Republic of Moldova," said Recean.

The committee members examined the participants' files and selected the winners of the competition by secret ballot. Details of the award ceremony will be announced later.

Each year, the government awards up to ten prizes, which include a diploma, a medal and 100 thousand lei.
