Moldovan judoka becomes European U23 champion

Chisinau, 17 November /MOLDPRES/ - Judoka Mihail Latisev has become European U23 champion. At the final of the weight category of up to 90 kg, the Moldovan sportsman defeated a Dutch judoka, Ian Van Herk.
Latisev gained five victories in a row. In the first battle, Latisev fought against Italian player Enrico Signorini. The next adversaries were Serbian Vojnin Mandic and Georgians Akaki Japaridze și Giorgi Jabniashvili.
It is for the second time that Mihail Latisev wins the golden medal this year. He also won the African Open from Marrakech in last June. In 2022, Latisev became world junior champion and won the European Junior Cup.
