Moldovan electoral body says 9,777 people vote in Moldovan settlements where new local elections were held

Chisinau, 17 November /MOLDPRES/ - The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) has informed that 9,777 electors (38.20 per cent) voted in those seven settlements where new local polls were held today.
According to CEC, 5,540 people (33.93 per cent) voted in the Causeni city. In the Iliciovca commune, Floresti district, 494 people (39.90 per cent) exercised the right to vote, 1,162 people (44.77 per cent) voted in the Boscana commune; 585 people (56.52 per cent) in the Arionesti village, Donduseni district.
A number of 525 people (44.30 per cent) voted in the Antonesti village, Cantemir district; 857 people (49.28 per cent) – in the Clocusna commune, Ocnita district. As many as 614 residents (50.33 per cent) voted in the Popestii de Jos village, Drochia district.
In the next hours, CEC will receive the official reports on the tabulation of the elections’ results.
