Textbook on negotiations on Moldova's accession to European Union launched

Chisinau, 21 November /MOLDPRES/ - The Textbook on the Negotiations on Accession to the European Union, today was launched and is available for all the people interested in the European integration path of Moldova.   

Attending the event were Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration Cristina Gherasimov, EU Ambassador to Moldova  Jānis Mazeiks, as well as the authors of the textbook - Primož Vehar and Vladimir Međak.

„The textbook is an important instrument for our European integration way and a useful guide for all those involved in this process. The textbook comprises detailed information about the steps made in our country so far, practical solutions for eventual challenges, examples and lessons learned from the experience of other states which went through this exercise,’’ Cristina Gherasimov said.    

The deputy PM stressed that the textbook was useful not only for the civil servants, but also for all those interested in the better understanding of the process of negotiation and the stage of European integration, including representatives of the business environment, civil society or academic sphere.  

The publication was carried out with the financial support of the European Union, within the EU project, Support for Structured Policy Dialogue, Coordination of the Implementation of the Association Agreement and enhancement of the legal approximation process.
